Odie

Odie Odie was our dog. He came with us on August 5, 2000, when he was five years old. He was born on March 17, 1995. He was put to sleep on September 16 2011, in the middle of the night.

Odie's former owners told us his mother looked just like Odie and his father was a large brown dog.

He was named after Garfields dog Odie.

Odie was a dog that liked to get his own way.
He wasn't interested in other dogs, though on our vacation in Huesca, Spain, he was very much in love with a local female dog. She was in love with Odie too. Unfortunately Odie was castrated, so they didn't know what to do with themselves: a very akward situation.

He wasn't very interested in people unless they carried food.

When he was young, he could jump very high and run very fast.

Odie took me out on walks. Also he was company for Tweety Pie our canary.
